Making Sense of What’s Going On
Evidence-based insight
When you're dealing with fatigue, anxiety, poor sleep, weight changes, low mood, heavy periods, brain fog, digestive issues, or symptoms that don't seem to make sense, it's easy to end up with lots of advice and very little clarity.
I help women connect the dots between their symptoms, hormones, nutrition, lifestyle and health history, so they can understand what's happening and know where to focus their efforts.
Why women get stuck
You've probably already tried everything
Many women come to me after trying supplements, cutting things out of their diet, reading endless articles, or receiving conflicting advice from practitioners, social media, friends and healthcare professionals.
The problem isn't a lack of information.
It's knowing which information applies to you.
Symptoms rarely happen in isolation. Fatigue, disrupted sleep, anxiety, weight gain, digestive symptoms, headaches and hormonal changes often influence one another. Looking at just one symptom can miss the bigger picture.
My philosophy
I look for patterns.
Rather than viewing every symptom as a separate problem, I look for the connections between them.
For example:
Heavy periods may contribute to low iron and fatigue.
Blood sugar instability may affect energy, mood and sleep.
Stress and nervous system overload can influence hormone symptoms.
Perimenopausal hormonal changes can affect everything from confidence and concentration to digestion and recovery.
Understanding these relationships often creates the clarity that women have been missing.
“Bean has such a depth of knowledge about the gut! I felt fully supported and encouraged throughout the process, like every avenue to help me was explored. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone who is struggling with their gut-health..”

Connecting The Dots
Listen
Your symptoms are important, but so is the story behind them.
We'll explore your health history, lifestyle, nutrition, medical background, current circumstances and what has already been tried.
Understand
Together we'll make sense of the patterns that emerge.
My goal is not simply to tell you what to do. It's to help you understand why I'm recommending it.
Investigate
We'll use symptom questionnaires, food diaries, existing blood tests and, in some cases, additional testing to build a clearer picture.
Simplify
No overwhelming protocols.
No twenty-step plans.
Just practical, personalised recommendations that fit into real life.
Clarity not complexity
Many women arrive feeling overwhelmed.
They've been told:
it's just stress
it's just hormones
it's just ageing
it's just their thyroid
it's just perimenopause
Often the reality is more nuanced.
Before adding more supplements, more tests or more restrictions, I help women understand what may be driving their symptoms and where to focus first.
This clarity can save time, energy, money and frustration.
Who I help:
This approach may be right for you if...
You feel confused by your symptoms.
You've received conflicting advice.
You suspect there's more than one thing contributing to how you feel.
You're navigating perimenopause or midlife changes.
You're tired of guessing.
You want a personalised, evidence-informed approach.
You'd like to understand your body rather than simply manage symptoms.
When you understand what's driving your symptoms, deciding what to do next becomes much clearer.
My role is to help you make sense of what's happening, understand where your symptoms may be coming from, and create a realistic plan that supports your health and your life.
