ROOTED SISTERHOOD

- Connect with women who are also facing perimenopause and discover the value of doing it together -

I never thought that I would want to immerse myself in and lead a group of women

All my life I have been wary of women and frankly, scared, of groups of women. And the funny thing is that many of you feel the same way! And yet, the more women I work with, the more I realise how valuable the support we can give each other is, and how we can thrive more than ever when we have each other’s backs.

The more women I work with, the more I understand how lonely so many of us feel, especially when it comes to this big midlife change.

We never would have gone through perimenopause alone until modern times - we would have been held by our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, friends and cousins. Without that support we have to create it ourselves - in a sisterhood.

The idea for Rooted sisterhood

…Comes from the desire to bring you together in a community during possibly the most intense time of your life - perimenopause.

Comes from an understanding that you deserve to go into and through this phase feeling supported, not alone.

Comes from knowing that messy processes are better gone through with others at the same time.

Comes from seeing the relief on the women I have worked with when they realise that they aren’t loosing their sh*t, that what they’re experiencing is entirely normal because they see other women having similar experiences.

Comes from understanding the rich power in sharing how you feel in a safe space free of judgement.

Comes from knowing that you may not necessarily have the space where you have an understanding ear, someone in your own family and friendship circles who you can talk to.

Comes from knowing that you love lifting others up, cheering others on, listening when others need to offload, and how much it helps when you can receive the same and feel understood.

Comes from seeing the real need for a safe, sacred space for women just to be and to feel they belong.

Comes from witnessing the transformation that can occur when you feel truly seen and heard.

Comes from knowing that magic happens when women come together.

The Sisterhood is:

A brand-new online space off social media for women in their 40’s and early 50’s approaching menopause to gather, connect and learn.

A respectful, private and confidential space where you can safely share and offload without judgement and without automatically being given solutions. It’s a space where the priority is for you to be heard and witnessed.

It’s also a space to have a little fun!

It starts early January 2024

~ Sarah

“Bean is an amazing nutritional therapist, but she is more than that, her approach is not just focussed on one small part of your life, but she takes everything into account, she listens to every detail and works tirelessly to find solutions. I learned so much about myself from our sessions together. I cannot recommend Bean highly enough. She goes above and beyond to find solutions and her advice is scientifically sound.”
